Nature is calling, and there’s a golden opportunity to get involved in Green Tourism across Greater Lincolnshire.

Imagine creating vibrant green spaces that not only benefit the environment but also enhance the well-being of your community and visitors. Hubbub, in collaboration with Starbucks, is excited to introduce the Nature Hubs Fund. This grant could breathe life into your nature-centric ideas.

So, for those businesses who are working through the Green Tourism Toolkit, the Nature Hubs funding is perfect for you!

In a recent poll by Hubbub, a staggering 78% of people reported feeling better after spending time in nature. However, a concerning 36% of the UK population spends less than an hour a week in green spaces.

The Nature Hubs Fund aims to change this narrative by supporting initiatives that bring people closer to nature and nature closer to people.

It will offer 50 groups up to £6,000 of funding to develop green space initiatives and increase access to nature. Groups will be partnered with a local Starbucks store, who will support projects in a number of ways. This fund will improve access and connection to nature in the communities Starbucks serves, by creating green spaces within a 5km radius of Starbucks stores.

Why should your tourism business get involved? As well as the benefits to physical and mental health, green spaces contribute to climate resilience, a crucial aspect in today’s changing climate. As a tourism business, creating or enhancing green spaces in your area can set you apart, offering a unique and refreshing experience to your visitors.
