The pot washer follows cleaning checklists and keeps the kitchen and cooking equipment clean, so that the chefs have a constant supply of clean dishes and utensils.

Specific duties include: -
  • Stacking dirty trays
  • Keeping the pot wash area clean and tidy
  • Using the pot wash
  • Make sure key items are always washed and available when required
  • Supply chefs with the pots and pans necessary to prepare food during service 
  • Replacing dishes with clean crockery
Skills, Experience and Personality Needed
  • Able to cope in a pressured working environment
  • Willing to work hard in a fast-working environment. 
  • Reliable and committed
